Large Hubei turquoise & amber single strand gemstone necklace.
"Old Stock" Hubei turquoise **
This striking statement piece features a fabulous colour combination of large graduated rustic natural Hubei turquoise rondelles (15mm to 8mm) on either side of bronze metal clay wavy disc beads combined with natural Baltic amber discs and fresh water coin pearls. Around the neck are 6mm amber rounds and orange aventurine tubes. The necklace is completed with a sterling silver lobster clasp and 1 1/2" sterling extender chain.
This piece measures 21 1/4" including the extender chain but can be worn as short as 19 1/2".
This is a substantial piece yet still very comfortable to wear !
** "Old Stock" Hubei turquoise refers to authentic, previously mined turquoise from the Hubei province in China. This stone was extracted before commercial mines in the region closed or export restrictions were enforced. This turquoise is sought after as the material is no longer being mined.
