Lion's paw shell & Hubei turquoise.....
Turquoise from the Hubei province in China and Lion's paw shell found in the warm coastal waters of the Atlantic ocean and Gulf of Mexico make up this amazing graduated gemstone necklace.
Natural lion's paw shell disks (14mm) in shades of orange and maroon are front and centre followed by natural Hubei turquoise graduated rustic disks in shades of blue and green, carnelian rondelles, 9mm green/blue Hubei turquoise discs and 8mm lion's paw & onyx rondelles. The piece is completed with carnelian tubes around the neck. The necklace is finished with a sturdy sterling silver lobster clasp and 2" extender chain.
Coordinating earrings (images 1 & 3) are lions paw shell with bronze metal clay wavy disks and Tibetan turquoise 4mm rondelles. Sturdy sterling silver French hook wires.
The necklace including extender chain measures just over 20" but can be worn as short as just over 18".

Note: A great deal of the 'turquoise' found on the internet is either imitation or dyed howlite. Please rest assured the turquoise in this necklace is genuine (stabilized to enhance hardness) and from a very reliable source. This is reflected in the price.
