Natural Malachite from India.....
This is an incredibly beautiful piece of natural malachite in an asymmetrical teardrop shape.
The colour is an amazing soft shade of green with darker green markings.
Wrapped in 14k gold filled wire and suspended from a 20" oval rolo chain - also 14k gold filled. Along one side are 3 faceted malachite rondelles.
The neclace is finished with a gold filled springring clasp and figure 8 connector.
The pendant stone measures 1 1/4" x just over 5/8" at widest part
The finished necklace length is 20". The pendant drop measures 1 1/2".

Malachite is a soft stone and also sensitive to heat and should be protected from extreme temperature changes. Malachite should not be exposed to excessive sunlight or chemicals. It should not be steam cleaned or placed in ultrasonic cleaners or tumblers. Malachite is best wiped with a soft dry cloth to avoid scratching.
